But the front has been teased! The Tacoma, of course. Please, please be right! There is very little chrome, which is awesome!

Don't get your hopes up. Americans love chrome on trucks so the manufacturers are happy to oblige.

Looks like... a pickup truck.

It looks a bit like a Tundra....

The Taco has sold pretty well over the years with none, so there is a chance. Plus, Dodge made a whole new trim, or are going to, because their limited Black Edition trucks sold so well. So maybe the fad is dying.

Meh it looks like the fugly current gen tundra a truck I am not a fan of.

Oh god I hope so. I think "chrome" on the majority of cars/trucks is overdone and tacky

Compared to the chrome monstrosities that are the Silverado and Sierra, the Tundra is a great looking truck. I'm glad Toyota is going for a truck look, instead of softening it up.

The Tundra isn't my favorite of the full size class, but it's second behind the Ram and in front of the fugly F-150. I'm glad it looks like a truck instead of being softened up.

That or they figured out they can save money by charging customers to add it on or leaving it to the aftermarket

This trend needs to die.

I fail to see how this
Is not a chrome-plated monstrosity.
![]() 12/17/2014 at 15:34 |

Well the highest trim Ram has very little:

For me it's the GMC>Ram>Chevrolet>Tundra/Titan>Ford

GMC comes 4th because there is still too much fucking chrome, but the Chevy comes DEAD.FUCKING.LAST. Kill this fucking monstrosity with fire.
I do not need 500 fucking cubic feet of chrome cow catcher on a truck. It looks awful. I really think they challenged themselves to see how gaudy they could make it.

There is something with the styling that I just HATE on the tundra. Especially the 2nd gen ones were horrid. But I am not a fan of most newer car styling I think I am getting old.

Because at least there is some paint on the front.

They're both monstrosities

I would definitely buy a Ram over the Tundra, but at least with the Tundra:

'tis a lot of lipstick, there

This is what I think of.

I guess I haven't seen these. All the rams I see have chrome grilles and bumpers. And of coarse the trademark fake chrome wheels. Yes, those are wheel covers and not true chrome wheels.

The chrome doesn't bother me. Don't need it but it's not the biggest issue for me.
![]() 12/17/2014 at 16:04 |

Oh the chrome isn't the biggest issue on them, definitely.
![]() 12/17/2014 at 19:01 |

Holy crap. There really isn't paint AT ALL.

As the former owner of a 2007 Tacoma I can already feel in my bladder the size increase of thew new Tacoma and the impending loss of the regular cab, which mine was.
